Manfred Fock was born in 1943 in Kiel.
Private piano lessons from Marianne of Gynz-Rekowski.
After high school studies at the Hamburg University of Music with Robert Henry and Eliza Hansen, also at the Geneva Conservatory with Nikita Magaloff. Fellow of the German National Academic Foundation. Master classes with Wilhelm Kempff in Positano and Sascha Gorodnitzki in Philadelphia. Winners of international competitions in Vercelli, Terni and Taormina (Italy). Twice participant of selection "Federal concerts by young artists " according to national competitions in Hannover.
Concerts throughout Europe, Japan and the United States. Broadcasting and CD recordings. 1976, 1977 and 1989 performed the complete Beethoven piano sonatas (Kiel and Lübeck).
1971 - 1973 assistant and lecturer at the University of Music in Hamburg. Since 1980, full-time professor at the Lübeck Academy of Music, since 2003 also professor at ICOM in Hamburg.
